Members of the $2.2 billion Redwood Credit Union in Santa Rosa,Calif., are now being offered remote deposit checking.
|RCU said it is using Mitek software to add mobile RDC to its mobile banking apps forAndroid and Apple devices.
|The California credit union said the RDC offering is the latestin a series of free digital banking enhancements, which now includeonline budgeting tools, bill pay, Quicken/QuickBooks downloads,online loan applications and e-statements.
|“RCUis committed to the environment and actively encourages the useof online services to help reduce paper-based transactions andconserve fuel emissions by minimizing the need for branch visits,”the 18-branch credit union said in its announcement.
