The Golden 1 Credit Union of Sacramento, Calif.,has named Richard Musci as senior vice president/chief lendingofficer.

Donna Bland, president/CEO of the $8.2billion, 640,000-member credit union, announced the hiringlast week.

Musci has more than 20 years of experience including formerstints as vice president of retail banking at E*Trade Financial inArlington, Va., and vice president and chief lending productsofficer at Charles Schwab Bank in Reno, Nev., according to theannouncement, and he holds a bachelor's degree from the Universityof California at Berkeley and completed Harvard Business School'smanagement program.

Musci replaces Charles Goss, who was recently named senior vicepresident/chief lending officer at the $7.2 billion, 928,000-memberSecurity Service Federal Credit Union in San Antonio.
