The $574 million Christian Community Credit Union in San Dimas,Calif., recently celebrated the grand re-opening of its Covinabranch.

That facility had served as the credit union's corporateheadquarters 40 years ago when it moved from California BaptistSeminary,

The Covina makeover included a new landscape design and interiorremodeling and was executed by Tom Matlock of Matlock Associates, alongtime credit union member who served as general contractor andarchitect and has worked on four major building renovations in 30years at the Covina and San Dimas locations.

“We are at another historical moment in our credit union wherewe are dedicating this beautifully remodeled branch. The Covinabranch was designed with our members and staff in mind and withstate-of-the-art technology that will make services convenient toour members,” John Walling, president/CEO of Christian CommunityCredit Union, said at the June 10 ceremony.

ChristianCommunity Credit Union has been an icon in the city and we areprivileged to have the credit union in Covina,” added Covina MayorWalter Allen III.

ChristianCommunity CU said it now serves more than 29,500 membersnationwide and has served as a financial partner of Christianchurches, ministries and their members for over 56 years.
