The $2 billion, 353,200-memberr Municipal Credit Union in NewYork has awarded $66,000 in scholarships to graduating high schoolseniors. The awards came in the form of eight memorial scholarshipgrants of $5,000 each and 13 grants of $2,000 each. Thescholarships were presented to the recipients by MCU President/CEOKam Wong at a special presentation reception at MCU's headquarterson May 30th.

The scholarships are available to MCU members in good standingor their children or grandchildren and winners were chosen based onacademic performance, extracurricular and community activities,letters of recommendation, and an essay expressing personalgoals.
