Building on a 30-year partnership with credit unions that has generated $10 billion in loans, Enterprise Car Sales is looking to take the alliance much further.
The company said it has opened its largest used car showroom in the U.S. at the Henderson Auto Mall in Henderson, Nev.
Open seven days a week, the new facility features a light-filled showroom with space for up to 200 vehicles, along with two air-conditioned display bays and a lounge area, according to Enterprise.
Before arriving at the used car dealership, customers can use online tools offered by Enterprise Car Sales and other websites to shop and compare vehicles in a certain price range with similar body styles and features, as well as estimated monthly payments and insurance costs, said Steve Bloom, senior vice president for Enterprise Car Sales.
The Henderson Chamber of Commerce was on hand for a ribbon cutting on May 16. The new used car dealership, which has been open since December 2012, is nearly 10 times the size of its previous location and is staffed by twice as many sales associates, Enterprise Car Sales said.
In January, the company said it helped credit unions generate more than $380 million in loan volume in 2012. The loan volume generated was 15% higher than 2011’s figures. The growth came through used car sales to more than 23,000 credit union members last year.
As a result of partnering with credit unions during the past 30 years, Enterprise Car Sales said it has helped generate almost $10 billion in loan volume for more than a thousand credit unions nationwide.
