To help residents and families impacted by the tornado thatstruck Moore, Okla., earlier this week, Pen Air Federal CreditUnion said it will collect monetary donations at all of itsbranches.

The $1.2 billion credit union in Pensacola, Fla., said all fundscollected will be sent to the American Red Cross.

Donations will be collected by the cooperative over the next twoweeks with the possibility of an extended timeframe depending onthe trends of donations as well as the needs of the American RedCross, Pen Air FCU said.

“Our thoughts are with all of those affected by this horribletornado,” said Pen Air FCU President/CEO Stewart Ramsey. “Pen AirFederal Credit Union understands the mission of the Red Cross, andhopes our community will respond in helping support thatmission.”

Donations will be collected at the credit union's 19 branchesserving Northwest Florida and Southeast Alabama, including fourstudent-run credit unions at area high schools
