The League of Southeastern Credit Unions has been awarded sevenHermes Creative Awards, an international competition sponsored bythe Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals.

LSCU took home three of the competition's top platinum awardsalong with two gold awards and three honorable mentionacknowledgments, the league said.

The LSCU Cooperative Image Campaign “Coffee” TV ad,Signal Magazine, and the JMFA Direct Mail piece wereawarded platinum awards, which were recognized for their quality,creativity, and resourcefulness. Only 15% of the entries won thetop platinum award, acknowledging them as the most outstandingentries in the competition.

This is the third year in a row that LSCU's Signalmagazine was recognized with a platinum statue, the leaguesaid.

Additionally, the Credit Union Service Centers of Alabama Videoand the Leadership Development Conference Campaign received goldawards, which were part of the 19% judged to exceed the highstandards of the industry norm.

Honorable mention acknowledgments went to the FloridaGovernmental Affairs Conference direct mail piece and theLEVERAGE website, the league said.

The LSCU represents 285 credit unions in Alabama and Floridawith a combined total of $64 billion in assets and more than 6.5million members.
