“As a strong 'green' advocate, CUNA Mutual Group launched thiscampaign to reduce waste, save money and take another step towardenvironmental sustainability,” said Jennifer Norr, CUNA MutualGroup's director of customer operations. “Plus it's a great way tosupport the NCUF and their programs that do so much to supportcredit unions.”

The insurer kicked off the month-long initiative with a May 1email to all credit union customers.

The company's goal is to get 2,000 credit unions to gopaperless; that would generate $10,000 for the NCUF.

|

“But we won't stop there,” Norr said. “If more than 2,000 of ourcustomers go paperless within the month, we'll continue to add tothe donation with the potential to give $30,000.”

CUNA Mutual Group began making policies available onlinein 2012 in its Credit Union Protection and Collateral Protectionlines of business. Lending policies will be added later thisyear.

|

The 800 credit unions that have already gone paperless won't beleft out either, as donations also will be made on their behalf tothe NCUF.
