The $633 million Cyprus Federal Credit Union recently hostedmore than 40 students from Herriman and Copper Hills high schoolsfor a shadow day at the West Jordan, Utah, credit union.

The students heard presentations from more than 25 Cyprusemployees on topics such as finance, human resources, business andconsumer lending, marketing and branch operations. Each presenterprovided information about their education, experience and anoverview of day to day responsibilities in their career.

“What a great experience for our staff to engage with youngpeople in our community and for these students to learn more aboutcareers in the financial industry,” said Steve Fifield, vicepresident of branches for the 16-branch credit union.
