The $60 million Pocatello Railroad Federal Credit Union inPocatello, Idaho, plans to convert to the FLEX core processingsystem, according to its owner, Computer Marketing Corp. in Sandy,Utah.

PRFCU, which began as Idaho's first credit union in 1935, plansto convert to the FLEX platform later this year, the company andcredit union said.

Cost savings, technology and service were cited in thedecision.

The 10,600-member PRFCU currently runs on a CUDP platform,according to the Technology Survey from Callahan &Associates.

CMC said FLEX now has systems in place at nearly 300credit unions across the United States and inthe Eastern Caribbean.
