The $925 million US Federal Credit Union in Burnsville, Minn.,said itsemployees volunteered 275 hours of their time to process 154tax returns as part of the VITA effort this year.
|The 69,400-member USFCU partnered with AccountAbility Minnesotafor the 10th straight year on the effort, which garnered$270,607 in refunds for the income-qualified taxpayers, the creditunion said.
|“The use of this service has grown steadily over the pastfew years and we are happy that we are able to help our communitiesin this way,” said Bill Raker, USFCU president/CEO.
