Credit Union League of Connecticut President/CEO Tony Emersonhas been named the new president/CEO of the $465 million IC FederalCredit Union in Fitchburg, Mass.
|Emerson succeeds retiring CEO Tony Cali at the 21,000-memberMassachusetts credit union. He has been CEO at the CULC since 2008after previously serving as vice president at Maine Savings FCU inHampden.
|Cali has been at IC FCU since 2008.
|Emerson joined the credit union industry in 2001 at PenobscotCounty FCU after working for a global manufacturer and serving inthe U.S. Air Force as a contracting officer, his new employersaid.
|“After an extensive national search process and manystrong potential candidates, the board feels Tony has the skillsand leadership capabilities to take IC Federal Credit Union to thenext level of growth” Ken Stone, chairman of the IC FCU Board of Directors, said in the credit union'sannouncement.
|“The board, staff and members are all loyal and dedicated to thesuccess of the credit union. I look forward to working with all ofthem well into the future to ensure the continued growth andprosperity of the credit union,” Emerson said.
