Just in time for National Financial Literacy Month, TheDisclosures have a new song and music video for kids.

Titled “Thank My Piggy Bank”, the song introduces the basicconcepts of saving.

Since the release of their first album in 2011 titled “(Hey, We're) TheDisclosures” – comprised of songs that focus on creditunion history and philosophy – Christopher Morris, director ofcommunications at the National Credit Union Foundation and Chad Helminak, director of REAL Solutions and outreach at theWisconsin Credit Union League, have performed at credit unionevents across the country.

For their next project, The Disclosures have decided to go in anew direction and teach kids how to responsibly handle theirfinances through a mix of music and humor.

“Thank My Piggy Bank” is the first single from their next album,which currently being recorded. The pop/rock album – due to releasein late 2013 – will be entirely focused on youth financialeducation.

The song was mixed and mastered by credit union marketingconsultant Morriss Partee and Squirrel Trench Audio.
