The $748 million, 54,500-member Texas Trust Credit Union inMansfield, Texas, is now offering a mobile remote check depositservice.

The mobile RDC works on Apple or Android devices and the54,500-member credit union is allowing members to deposit up tofive checks or up to $10,000 per day with the first $2,500immediately available after the member receives a depositacceptance response on the device.

The service is free to mobile banking users and members who usethe Texas Trust Free & Flexible or Traditions checking accountsor Mega Money Market account, the credit union said.

“Mobile deposit is about convenience. It gives the member theability to deposit checks without having to visit a branch or go toan ATM,” said Jim Minge, president/CEO.

The RDC technology is from Cachet Financial Solutions while Access SoftTek provided themobile banking platform, Texas Trust said.
