The $5.8 billion, 242,000-member San Diego County Credit Unionhas named Dale Turner to the newly created position of senior vicepresident, real estate.

Turner will be in charge of SDCCU's lending portfolio andstrategies, as well as real estate lending and processingactivities, including first mortgages, construction and home equityloans.

Turner had been vice president of lending at the $1 billionEli Lilly FCU in Indianapolis and prior to that head of retaillending for First National Bank in Bemidji, Minn., his new employersaid. He has a bachelor's degree from Wabash College inCrawfordsville, Ind., and a degree from the Graduate School ofBanking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
