The legislation passed the House last December but was not takenup by the Senate.

Anticipating the bill will pass the House a second time,McKechnie said, “It's encouraging that Congress is finding issuesto address that don't divide the financial services industry. But,there are still some things they should put on their to-do list forcredit unions, and I'm hopeful we can keep moving in thatdirection.”
