The $2 billion Texas Dow Employees Credit Union has presentedthe Houston Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, thecity's largest shelter, with a donation of $1,110. The money wasraised $1 at a time through a holiday promotion in which each TDECUgift card purchased was earmarked for donation to a local animalshelter, and then matched by the Lake Jackson-based creditunion.
