Paul Chong has been hired as senior vice president of retirementplan services for CUNA Mutual Group.

In his new role, he will be responsible for leading thedevelopment of CUNA Mutual Retirement Plan Services business inboth the credit union and small business markets, the Madison,Wis., company said.

Chong will also oversee the company's teams in Madison and atCPI Qualified Plan Consultants in Great Bend, Kan.

Chong succeeds Kevin Thompson, who has returned to CUNA MutualGroup's Legal Division as vice president-associate general counsel,the company said.

Prior to joining CUNA Mutual, Chong served as executivedirector, head of institutional consulting and 401(k) at UBS, wherehe was directly responsible for UBS Wealth Management's $100-plusbillion Institutional Consulting and Corporate Retirementbusiness.

In addition, Chong served as executive vice president forbusiness development at Prudential Retirement and president,Corporate Market Groups for CitiStreet. He also spent time as anentrepreneur and owned businesses in Florida, CUNA Mutualsaid.
