The $1.4 billion ORNL Federal Credit Union in Oak Ridge, Tenn.,said it plans to open its 33rd branch, this one inKnoxville.

The 157,000-member ORNL FCU said the full-service branch will bebuilt on a site it has agreed to buy at Northshore Town Center.

The announcement continues growth that saw ORNL FCU increase itsconsumer loan portfolio by 15% in 2012. Over the past 13 years, thecredit union has tripled in assets and more than doubled inmembership, it said.
