Xtend Inc. said it has made a move, under the same roof but into roomier quarters.
The CUSO and its call center now occupies 6,300 square feet on the second floor of the building in Grand Rapids, Mich., it shares with fellow CUSO CU*Answers.
Now in its 11th year, Xtend is owned by 69 credit unions and said it provides more than 150 with bookkeeping, member contact services, back-office mortgage services, partnered liquidity opportunities, shared branching, compliance monitoring and insurance services.
The build-out of the new space took less than three months and the move-in took place over the past weekend, the company said.
“This is another milestone event in the history of our company. The significant growth that our company experienced over the past several years meant that we were pushing the limits of our existing floor plan sooner than we had expected,” said Xtend President Scott Collins
The new space includes space to grow, Collins said, adding, “When you prepare to move an entire call center non-disruptively, you want to make sure to dot all of the i’s and cross all of the t’s so that credit unions and their members were not affected. The fact that we experienced no down time and hit the ground running in our new digs is a testament to all of the teams involved.”
