The National Credit Union Foundation said registration is nowopen for the 42 spots available in the Fall 2013 Credit UnionDevelopment Education training class.

The session will be held Sept. 4-11 at the University ofWisconsin in Madison and “is open to everyone from new employeeswho need a credit union orientation to seasoned executives who needto recharge,” the NCUF said in Tuesday's announcement.

Now in its 31st year, more than 1,000 graduates from 31countries have earned CUDE certification by completing thetraining, the NCUF said. Topics include credit union outreachinitiatives, problem solving and technical assistance as well as anemphasis on the movement's philosophy.

“Registration is limited to just 42 attendees, so the soonerindividuals register the better,” said Lois Kitsch, the NCUF'snational program director. “In fact, the Spring 2013 DE traininghas already reached capacity and has been sold out since lastOctober.”
