Employees of the $25 billion State Employees' Credit Uniondonated nearly $71,000 in 2012 to the NC State Employees CombinedCampaign, the Raleigh, N.C., credit union said.
|Meanwhile, SECU's members, through the credit union's foundation, provided $60,000 to help pay forthe publication of the annual SECC Giving Guide, SECUsaid.
|The campaign by North Carolina state employees raised more than$4 million in 2012 for more than 1,000 non-profit and charityorganizations, SECU said.
|SECU has been an active participant in the State EmployeesCombined Campaign for many years, the credit union said, and employee contributions for 2012surpassed the previous year figures for participation and donationsreceived.
|“We are thankful to the SECU Foundation for their continuedpartnership with the SECC, providing the annual SECC Giving Guideand other resources that are critical components to the success ofour Campaign,” said Mary Paisley, director of the SECC.
