Bruce Bryan, Utah regional president for the $1.9 billion,193,400-member Chartway Federal Credit Union in Virginia Beach,Va., has joined the board of the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Utah.Bryan was president/CEO of HeritageWest Credit Union when it mergedwith Chartway in 2010 and now oversees HeritageWest, SouthWestCommunity and Utah Central credit unions' operations as well. TheUtah division's charitable work now includes working withChartway's We Promise Foundation.
|In 2012, the We Promise Foundation donated $325,000 to the UtahChapter of Make-A-Wish; the largest donation ever received by thischapter of the wish-granting organization. The We PromiseFoundation also became the first organization to receive a star tobe displayed at the Utah Chapter of Make-A-Wish's building.
