There’s new leadership at 3Rivers Federal Credit Union.
The $727 million Fort Wayne, Ind.-based credit union has promoted executive vice president Don Cates to president/CEO.
Cates, who joined the credit union in 2011, has overseen the completion of four new branches and his responsibilities have been focused in sales and lending.
He has over 20 years of career experience in the financial industry, serving in many capacities of lending and retail management, including 10 years as a bank president.
According to 3Rivers Board Chairman Don Greer, "Don has earned his position by demonstrating strong leadership qualities and a great ability to work collaboratively with other people."
