CUNA Mutual Group's chief ethics and compliance officer has beenelected board chair for the Compliance & Ethics Forum for LifeInsurers.
|Steve Koslow, a CUNA Mutual senior vice president, will take thehelm of a board comprising chief compliance and ethics officers ofCEFLI's member companies and representatives of its affiliatemembership organizations.
|“Steve has served on CEFLI's board of directors for a number ofyears, and we're so proud he's been given this opportunity,” saidFaye Patzner, senior vice president and chief legal officer atCUNA Mutual in Madison, Wis.
|At CUNA Mutual, Koslow leads employees responsible for ensuringcompliance with regulatory market conduct requirements as well asassessing compliance risk, monitoring compliance work andmaintaining governance over the company's documented policies,procedure and standards.
|A Northwestern University law school graduate, Koslow joinedCUNA Mutual Group in 2007 after working as a director in thegovernance, risk and compliance group at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLPin Chicago.
|He has published articles in several industry publications andis a frequent conference speaker, CUNA Mutual said.
|CEFLI provides knowledge and insights for compliance and ethicsprofessionals in the life insurance industry, the company said.
