The Nashville, Tenn.-based corporate cited functionality andprice in its decision.

CU Mobile Apps works on Android and iPhone devices allowssubscribers to easily upload images, choose colors, customize theirdisplay and change content requires no contract and can easilyintegrate new technologies as they become available, said RickHargis, owner/partner of the app's owner, Member Service SolutionsLLC of Franklin, Tenn.

The app also includes the ability to quickly create and sendalert notifications, special offers, and loan or account rateinformation to members' smartphones, Member Service Solutions said.QR capability also is included.

Member Service Solutions said it now has about 50 credit union clients using the app it launched last year.
