CU*Answers and its partner, Xtend Inc., recently helped convert three credit unions from Fiserv platforms to the CU*BASE core processing system, the Grand Rapids, Mich., CUSOs said.
They were the $30 million DeTour Drummond Community CU of Drummond Island, Mich., the $40 million State Transportation Employees CU in Columbus, Ohio, and the $23 million RAFE FCU in Riverside, Calif.
All three deployed CU*BASE in an online environment, with DeTour Drummond Community CU and State Transportation Employees CU hosted by CU*Answers and RAFE FCU hosted by CU*Northwest Inc. of Liberty Lake, Wash.
Xtend provided call center and back office assistance during the conversion, that CUSO said.
DeTour Drummond and RAFE FCU were both Fiserv CUSA customers and State Transportation Employees CU had been on a Fiserv Galaxy platform, CU*Answers said.
CU*Answers said it also has added two more credit unions to its list of stockholders, bringing the total to a new high of 109. Purchasing shares were the $182 million, 16,500-member Lake State FCU in Moose Lake, Minn., and the $41 million, 4,200-member Horizon Community CU in Green Bay, Wis.
There now are more than 200 credit unions running on the CU*BASE platform, CU*Answers said, while Xtend said it now offers member contact, shared branching, compliance monitoring, insurance and other back-office services to more than 150 credit unions.
