Brian Sherrick has been named president/CEO of Postal CreditUnion in Woodbury, Minn., the credit union where he began hiscareer as an intern in 1984.

Sherrick succeeds Ross Plunkett, who retired from the $541 million, 45,600-memberPCU on Oct. 19. He had been serving as executive vice president ofoperations and lending.

Sherrick serves as chair of the PCU Community Foundation and onthe board of the Minnesota Credit Union Foundation.

Sherrick grew up in St. Paul and lives with his family in LinoLakes.

PCU was founded in 1926 and said it now serves six counties fromlocations in Eagan, Hugo, North St. Paul, West St. Paul andWoodbury.
