Credit Unions for Kids will be receiving a healthy donation fromLos Angeles-area credit union members on International Credit UnionDay.
|Xceed Financial is celebrating by donating 25 cents to CreditUnions for Kids each time a member swipes their debit or creditcard on Thursday. Credit Unions for Kids is a nationwidealliance of credit unions supporting Children's Miracle NetworkHospitals.
|The $751 million credit union based in El Segundo, Calif., isjoining three other California credit unions – the $340 millionSkyOne FCU in Hawthorne, the $2.5 billion Wescom CU in Pasadenaand the $1.1 billion California CU in Glendale – in the effort.
|Children's Miracle Network is the world's largest children'scharity, supporting 170 hospitals in the United States and Canada.The donations will go directly to local hospitals to fundlife-saving research and technologies.
