The $1.1 billion Idaho Central Credit Union has launched mobilecheck deposit for its smartphone- and tablet-using members.

The Pocatello credit union said the remote deposit capture serviceuses the MShift mobile banking platform and RDC technology fromEnsenta.

“Members now have the ability to deposit a check any time of dayfrom anywhere by simply taking a photo of it with theirsmartphone,” said Mark Willden, chief information officer atICCU.

The service is free to the credit union's 117,100 members and issupported by the credit union's iPhone and Android apps.
