Sixties folk and pop star John Sebastian, the founder of theLovin' Spoonful who's now a member of the Rock and Roll Hall ofFame, did the honors when the York Chapter of Credit Unions heldits “Honoring Our County's Heroes” on Sept. 11 at theStrand-Capitol Performing Arts Center in York, Pa. The organizerspartnered with the Homes for Our Troops organization to raise morethan $5,000 to go towards building a new home for a wounded localsoldier.
