EMV is the global standard for authenticating credit and debit card transactions. While the U.S. is the last large marketplace to adopt EMV, the foundation for acceleration for EMV migration is underway. Credit unions need to understand the key components of this technology, what it means to the industry, Visa and MasterCard timelines and key dates, and considerations for their planning processes. This site strives to be the conduit of information for credit unions.
