The $258 million, 25,100-member Chetco Federal Credit Union wasa co-sponsor of the annual Stuff the Bus effort that helped theHarbor, Ore., community fill the Dollar Dog bus to overflowing withneeded school supplies for Brookings-Harbor area elementary, middleand high schools. Members and other members of the community helpedprovide a wide range of supplies at each of the three locations andalso contributed more than $2,000 in cash for the effort.

“This is a heart-warming event for the community; it'sexciting to be able to help kids with the supplies they need tostart their school year off right,” said Lorie Botnen, CFCU Harborbranch manager and coordinator for the event. “The Dollar Dog busdefinitely has a big impact on the attention this promotionreceives; community folks know to look for the bus to make theirdonation.”
