The $2.3 billion, 168,200-member Michigan State UniversityFederal Credit Union has upgraded its mobile banking presence.

The East Lansing, Mich., institution – which claims the title ofworld's largest university-based credit union – said it developedthe solutions in house. They include the Green on the Go site that appears onmobile devices as well as apps for iPhone and Androidsmartphones.

Functionality includes remote check deposits, rates, transfers,ATM locators, current rate information and the ability tocorrespond with MSUFCU staff, the credit union said.

“With 20% of MSUFCU members living outside the state ofMichigan, these mobile services provide additional, convenient waysfor members to manage their accounts no matter where they'relocated,” said April Clobes, the credit union's executive vicepresident and chief operating officer.
