The $5.5 billion American Airlines Federal Credit Union in FortWorth, Texas, has chosen MeridianLink in Costa Mesa, Calif., toprovide the 235,000-member credit union with an integrated accountopening and loan origination solution.

The MeridianLink system works across channels, includingin-branch, online and through call centers and kiosks, the companysaid. Its decisioning capabilities also were a factor in thedecision, AA Credit Union said.

“We will be able to better customize our lending guidelines andincorporate additional loan parameters,” said Susan Longley, thecredit union's vice president of consumer lending and accountservices.

“We are looking forward to being able to provide business loansin addition to consumer loans – including auto, airplane, creditcards, personal and home equity – through the system,” Longleysaid. She said plans also include integrating Docusign e-signaturecapabilities.

MeridianLinksaid more than 500 financial institutions, the majority of themcredit unions, currently use its account opening and loanorigination solutions.
