Chad Everett, star of the 1970s TV series Medical Center who also appeared in national credit union advertising, died Tuesday at age 75 following a battle with lung cancer.
Everett was one of several celebrity spokespersons featured in CUNA’s national advertising program, which was supported by state leagues and individual credit unions.
The advertising focused on the message, “Credit Unions: It’s Where You Belong.” It was later adapted by the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association for its “iBelong” awareness campaigns franchised in several states over the years.
