The $771 million Financial Partners Credit Union issponsoring the Columbia Memorial Space Center's ”GreatBalls of Fire: Comets, Asteroids and Meteors” exhibit during itssummer run at the learning center in Downey, Calif. The show endsSept. 16.

The credit union's $10,000 sponsorship includes placing itslogos on the banners and signs at the museum and will help bringthe “Great Balls of Fire” exhibit to the surrounding Los AngelesCounty schools.

The traveling exhibit was created by the Space ScienceInstitute's National Center for Interactive Learning, with fundingfrom the National Science Foundation and NASA. It focuses oncomets, asteroids, and meteors with hands-on interactive exhibitsand real meteors.
