Bradford-Scott Fortress FCU Conversion

Indianapolis Core Provider Wins Business from Marion, Ind., CU

Bradford-Scott Data Corp. said it will be converting the $15.4 million Fortress Federal Credit Union in Marion, Ind., to the Sharetec core processing system.

The 2,300-member Fortress FCU currently is a Fiserv Portico customer, according to the Technology Survey from Callahan & Associates.

“We wanted to move to a solution that would allow us to reduce expenses while also improving our operations. We saw how Sharetec would automate share draft and ACH processing, which no other processors we looked at could do. With transmissions and everything Sharetec automates, we calculated Sharetec would save us 90 minutes per day of manual work,” said Fortress FCU CEO Lisa Blades.

Indianapolis-based Bradford-Scott is one of four regional owners of the Sharetec platform, now in use at about 310 credit unions nationwide.
