Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union’s assistant vice president for financial education has been honored by the $961 million credit union’s hometown of Lowell, Mass., for years of volunteer work.

Anne-Marie Bisson received the Mary J. Bacigalupo “You Make A Difference” Award by the Lowell Citywide Parent Council in a ceremony held on May 21.

A 21-year employee of the 58,000-member credit union, Bisson was feted for her work in creating and operating Catie’s Closet, a collector of clothing and health products for students and families in need that has grown from a single location at Lowell High School to locations in various school buildings.

Bisson also has organized and supervised the “MoneyStrong for Life” Fair at Lowell High School for two consecutive years.

“We are very proud of Anne-Marie’s numerous community volunteer efforts,” said Jeanne D’Arc CU President/CEO Mark Cochran. “She goes above and beyond every day, and we are honored to have her as part of our team.”
