Bensenville Community Credit Union Converts Processing

Suburban Chicago CU Now Running on Sharetec Through Bradford-Scott

The $18 million Bensenville Community Credit Union in suburban Chicago is now running on the Sharetec core processing system from Bradford-Scott Data Corp., the company and credit union said.

The 2,500-member credit union had been running on an Open Solutions Inc. platform, according to the Technology Survey at Callahan & Associates.

Roger Peters, CEO of Bensenville Community Credit Union, said, “One of the key parts of our new system is the ability to go totally paperless–receipts, loan docs, and other miscellaneous documents. For share and loan documents, the members sign the paper on the tablet, and then walk out with their copy, and we have our copy stored electronically.”

Indianapolis-based Bradford-Scott is one of four regional owners of the Sharetec system and said more than 300 credit unions now use it.
