KBR CU Uses Sharetec Core Processing

Tacoma Credit Union First Bradford-Scott Client in Washington State

Bradford-Scott Data Corp. in Indianapolis said the $22 million KBR Credit Union in Tacoma, Wash., said it has begun using its Sharetec core processing system.

The1,600-member KBR CU is the first Bradford-Scott customer in the state of Washington, the company and credit union said.

“We could have gone with a vendor closer to home, but we felt Sharetec had the most value when comparing the amount of services we could offer for the expense. The conversion to Sharetec was very organized and successful. Now we can set about growing our membership,” said Kolin McMann, KBR CU’s CEO.

“Kolin had been through several core conversions working at other credit unions and knew what he wanted in his next system. We are proud to have KBR CU as our first customer in Washington,” said Matt Isger, regional director with Bradford-Scott.

KBR CU had been running on a Compushare system, according to the Technology Survey from Callahan & Associates.

Bradford-Scott is one of the four regional owners of the Sharetec system, which now is in place at more than 300 credit unions.
