Corporate eCom Now CO-OP Bill Pay

Renaming Comes After Purchase From U.S. Central Bridge

A few months after buying it, CO-OP Financial Services has rebranded the former Corporate Network eCom bill pay operation as CO-OP Bill Pay.

CO-OP bought Corporate Network eCom, a provider of mobile and online bill pay services to about 750,000 credit union members, earlier this year from U.S. Central Bridge as the corporate began winding down its operations.

“CO-OP Bill Pay represents the acquisition and rebranding of the eCom bill pay service. Our announcement of CO-OP Bill Pay also represents an important expansion of the CO-OP e-commerce product line,” said Bill Prichard, manager of public relations and corporate communications at CO-OP in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.

Features include e-bill presentation, expedited and person-to-person payments, alerts and mobile access.

The 3,500-member CUSO said its combined client volume and processing will allow it to offer credit unions bill pay solutions “at a far better price."

“The acquisition by CO-OP of eCom gave CO-OP a premium online and mobile bill payment product that can be immediately delivered to any credit union,” Prichard said.
