Santa Fe FCU Goes With Sharetec Platform

The $106 million Santa Fe Federal Credit Union in Amarillo, Texas, plans to convert to the Sharetec core processing system through Data Systems of Texas on Jan. 1, the company said.

The 7,400-member credit union also chose electronic documents, audio response, home and mobile banking and remote deposit capture services from Data Systems of Texas and Sharetec, the company said.

Data Systems of Texas is based in Waco and is one of four regional owner partners of Sharetec Systems Inc. of Lino Lakes, Minn., and currently has 70 installations around the Southwest, the company said. Sharetec now has about 310 core processing clients nationally.

Santa Fe FCU currently is running on the XP2 platform from Fiserv Inc., according to the Technology Survey from Callahan & Associates.
