Northern Data Systems of Falmouth, Maine, said the $112 million Maine Family Federal Credit Union in Lewiston has deployed mobile banking and digital marketing technologies through the core processing firm.
Maine Family FCU is using the Sharetec Mobile Banking solution and digital marketing from Sharetec partner Segmint, the company said.
Steve Hildebrand, Maine Family FCU’s marketing director, said more than 1,500 of the credit union’s 18,000 members signed up for the mobile service in its first two months. He said the Segmint technology will allow the credit union to target market products and services from local businesses while providing additional revenue to the credit union.
“We are expecting that the advanced analytics will generate more loans and deposits and additional revenue. In addition to growing our portfolio we are expecting to gain increased synergies by pairing up with local businesses,” he said.
Northern Data Systems is one of four owner-distributors of Sharetec Systems of Lino Lakes, Minn. The company said it now has its core processing system in place at more than 300 credit unions.
