The award is named in honor of the former president/CEO of Clearview. This award commemorates the efforts of a worthy volunteer with a $2,500 donation to the charity of choice. Czemerda was chosen for her volunteer efforts at Lower Burrell Meals on Wheels, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing meals for the elderly citizens in the Lower Burrell area each year. Czemerda supervises 102 volunteers, as well as solicits surrounding businesses for donations since approximately 33% of their meals are provided free of charge. Mary is responsible for all the paperwork involved with payment of meals as well as accounting.  She is also credited for taking this charity from a church-based program to a not-for-profit organization by applying for their own 501 (c) (3) designation. In addition to honoring Czemerda for her commitment to community service, Clearview has made a $2,500 donation to the Lower Burrell Meals on Wheels program. This donation will be used to help feed five people for an entire year.
