Shell FCU has been serving Houston’s banking needs for 75 years, and to celebrate it is giving away monthly cash prizes, three cash grand prizes and a 2012 Camaro.
Each month, $1,075 will be awarded to an individual who closes an auto, home equity, signature or mortgage loan of $5,000 or more. And it will award $175 each month to an individual who opens a new checking account with debit card, e-statements and online banking. The monthly loan winners will be eligible to win the grand prize, a 2012 Camaro. Three runner-up prizes of $7,000, $5,000 and $2,000 will also be awarded.
Also, as part of its 75 year milestone, Shell FCU is offering 1% cash back on every auto loan approved and closed through April 2012.
Anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Harris County is eligible to bank with Shell FCU. Shell FCU serves 52,000 members, has six branches and assets of $480 million. The credit union has a staff of 200.
