Listerhill CU Proffers Range of Mobile Services

Listerhill Mobile Service Includes Blackberry and Android Apps

The 70,000 members of the $536 million Listerhill Credit Union in Sheffield, Ala., are now being offered a wide range of mobile banking options.

The Listerhill Mobile service includes BlackBerry and Android apps, a mobile Web browser and text banking along with an upgrade to the iPhone app the northern Alabama credit union rolled out last year.

“It’s imperative that credit unions use technology to their members’ advantage while still holding on to principles of great member service and cost effectiveness. We think Listerhill Mobile will accomplish these objectives by appealing to members who are adopting new technologies,” said Brad Green, president/CEO at Listerhill, which now has 17 branches in the Muscle Shoals area.

Functionality includes balances, transaction histories and fund transfers. The technology was provided by mFoundry through its relationship with PSCU Financial Services.
