EasCorp said two large credit unions are the newest customers of mobile remote deposit capture services from its CUSO, Vertifi Software LLC.
They are the $8 million Alliant CU of Chicago and $1.5 billion Truliant FCU of Winston-Salem, N.C.
The DeposZip Mobile RDC solution allows users to deposit checks to credit union accounts through downloadable apps on smartphones and tablets.
Burlington, Mass.-based EasCorp said 76 credit unions in 26 states are now using the mobile and/or the desktop version of the Vertifi RDC solution and that nearly 60% of the deposits from credit unions that have both are from the mobile channel.
EasCorp said more than $1.3 billion in deposits have been processed through DeposZip since the program began in 2008.
