COLUMBIA, Md. – Tower FCU Senior Member Services RepresentativeLeShawn Whitley said she didn't see a whole lot of new memberactivity on Nov. 5, Bank Transfer Day, but one member had hadenough with Bank of America.

Lisa told Credit Union Times she'd had about enough ofBofA's runaround after they transferred her childrens' inactiveaccounts to the state and it took two years to get the funds back.She just happened to get the checks from the state the week of BankTransfer Day, which brought her in today but the $5 fee was anotherfactor for her considering moving her direct deposit to Tower FCUas well.
