A Michigan Paddlepalooza: Slide Show

Team members from Genisys Credit Union in Auburn Hills, Mich., help registrants enter the third-annual Clinton River Paddlepalooza, an eight-mile canoe and kayak race and river event recently put on by the cities of Auburn Hills and Rochester Hills in the northern Detroit suburbs. The $1.4 billion, 125,000-member Genisys CU sponsored this year’s Paddlepalooza and also participate in river cleanup projects and other community events throughout the year.

The splashy competition gets under way from Riverside Park in Auburn Hills.

Canoeists Violet and Dave Fiddes celebrate the end of the race.
